Operating times
Our lifts run during the published operating times of 8.30 till 16.00, or as per the relevant times displayed on each individual lift.
First trip up the mountain on the 8-man gondola - 08.30
Last trip down the mountain on the 8-man gondola - 16.15
Our ticket offices are open daily from 08.00 till 16.25 without a break.
Advance sales possible every Saturday till 18.00.
8 The Schafbergbahn gondola
The Gargellen Schafberg gondola offers outstanding comfort combined with the highest possible standard of safety.
The 8-man gondolas are equipped with large panoramic windows, and offer step-free entry and an extremely comfortable interior ceiling height.

6 Kristallbahn chair-lift
With its weather protection hoods and heated seats, the Kristallbahn chair-lift offers the ultimate in comfort.
From the top station, you can enjoy a superb winter mountain panorama right across into Switzerland.

”Gargellner Köpfe” 4-man chair-lift
The thinking lift! Thanks to a conveyor belt, children have easy access to the 4-man chair-lift. When a child approaches the barrier, the conveyor belt is automatically raised, enabling the child to board the chair-lift much more effectively and easily.

Gargellner Alpe – Schafberg double chair-lift
After your 387 short-turns down the Nidla – or after a pleasant pootle through Täli and a session in the Kessl hut – the Gargellner Alpe double chair-lift will return you to the Schafberg plateau.
Valzifenz T-bar lift
Thanks to the Valzifenz T-bar lift, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the challenge of black run route 1a over and over again! Conveniently, the bottom station is also very close to the Obwald hut....
”Schmuggi Luggi” button lift
The "Schmuggi Luggi" button-lift is every child’s favourite! This sunny plateau of ours is the perfect place for tiny guests to have lots of fun.
Vergalden button-lift and Madrisa button-lift
These „baby“ lifts are located down in the valley, and are perfect for children and beginners.
